Biblical Prayers - Prayer of Praise to God
Today I will be sharing one of my prayers of praise to God. Revelations 8:4, describes, prayers of God's people as the "smoke of incense" that goes up to the Father from the angels hands. Our hope is that as we bring our prayer of praise, petitions, intercessions and thanksgivings before God, these prayers will be scriptural based - Biblical prayers, holy and acceptable to Him.
Read Psalms 107, Revelations 8:4, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 2:14, 1 Peter 3:22
Prayer:
We give thanks to you Father of Heavens, Most High God, for you are good always. Your love, Holy Father endures forever. You redeemed us from the hand of fire. We were hungry and thirsty for peace, knowledge and truth and you delivered us from our distress. Thank you Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for your everlasting faithfulness. Today, we give thanks to you, celebrating your unfailing love and your wonderful deeds to mankind. You, Lord our God, satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. We were sitting in darkness before, utter darkness.
We were prisoners suffering in iron chains because we had rebelled against your command and we had despised your plans. We stumbled and fell, there was none to help us. We then cried to you for help, and by your hand we were delivered. You have broken away our chains and set us free. Through your word, we have been healed from our infirmities. Through the blood of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus Christ, we are redeemed and forgiven of all our sins. He blotted out the handwriting of ordinances against us which were contrary to us. He took it all away, nailing it to His cross. He now sits at your right hand side with angels, authorities and powers made subject unto Him.
May your name be glorified and exalted as the enemy is put to shame. In Jesus mighty name, we pray.
Amen.
